Rollergun III

This is Rollergun-III. It was made entirely from the parts of RG-II. The main modification is that I have fitted a mid-handle. I constructed the mid-handle from fibreglass and aluminium plate. It has a trigger which pushes a rod, which in turn, pushes the original trigger on the rear-mounted Beuchat Mundial handle. I cut off the hand grip from the Mundial handle and replaced it by a hollow fibreglass butt. This was a lot of work! Why?

RG-II had an accuracy problem. It shot very low on long shots. I started playing with the mid-handle idea to try and modify the rotational properties of the gun in the vertical plane. I recommend you detour to my page on vertical recoil before reading on.
